First Aid for Day Camps in Montreal and the surrounding areas

Do you need first aid training for day camp workers? Trauma-Secours Inc provides learners with an educational, detailed and practical first aid program to arm you with the knowledge necessary to ensure the protection and safety of campers. The First Aid training for day camps lasts 8 hours. It can be done in a full day or two evenings. We can provide training directly at your workplace on a day and time that works for you, for a minimum of 10 participants per group. Call us to find out our training dates. Our services are available in Montreal and the Laurentians region up to Mont-Laurier.

MAIN OBJECTIVE

At the end of the training, the participants will be able to adequately perform general first aid, cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) and airway clearance (DVR) in children and adults (1 year and more). This training meets the required standards of the Ministry of infancy and family.

    Welcome Legislation Prevention (PAS) Primary examination & difference between medical vs traumatic Victim assessment (Secondary assessment and SAMPLE) Stabilization for victims of spinal trauma Unconsciousness/fainting CPR AED (automated external defibrillation) DVR (conscious and unconscious) State of shock Heatstroke/hypothermia Burns (thermal, chemical and electrical) Frostbite Eye injuries External and internal hemorrhage Angina, heart attack, stroke, ICT and aneurysm Nosebleed Intoxication and poisoning Allergies (biological, food, drug, chemical, insect) Anaphylactic treatment 1.5 hours (EpiPen injection) Medical emergencies (diabetes, asthma, fever, epilepsy) Minor fractures Course evaluation
